Ostara (Spring Equinox)
March 20th
At
Spring Equinox,
day and night are in equal balance, a point of equilibrium before
the light surges forward. Signs of spring are everywhere-the chains
of winter are broken, and rituals may celebrate the breaking of
bonds from the past. It is a time of decisive action-just as the
Sun is poised to grow in light and power, let nothing hold us back!
Like the growing God-child, we celebrate the child within. The
Goddess
Ostara,
sometimes seen as a white bunny, accepts our offerings of colored
eggs.
