Explore the mysteries of the Crone, the Sage and your own shadows during the Dark of the Moon.

These rituals will be conducted by various High Priests/Priestesses from the San Diego community.

Celebrating at Starcrafts

The Dark Moon is a time when the moon is fully dark -- no light is seen. Some recognize the dark moon as being one day on either side of the New Moon as well with appropriate waning or waxing aspects. It is a time of the Crone and the Sage, for working with the Dark and Destructive aspects of the Elements, the Dark Goddesses and Dark Gods. It is a time of the inner magick of wisdom, transcendence and transformation.

This will be a ritual of serious shadow work -- delving into the dark sides of our nature and finding ways to learn and grow from this. It is important to note that shadow work can open you up emotionally and make you face some serious issues you may be avoiding or suppressing. It can also be overwhelming to some depending on where you are at spiritually, mentally, emotionally, psychically or physically. Shadow work can affect all of these aspects of your self, not only during the ritual, but afterward as well. Consider carefully how you feel about this before participating in this ritual. Shadow work can also be liberating and help you overcome what you have been avoiding dealing with or acknowledging so that you can move beyond it to fulfill your soul's path.
